We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allow you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Companionship
  • Light cooking and cleaning
  • Bathing, grooming and toileting
  • Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
  • Transportation for appointments and errands
QUALIFICATIONS
  • CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Proof of current TB testing
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
  • Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
  • Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)

FAQs

What are the work hours?

We are flexible but typically look for availability anywhere between 8 am to 6 pm, for shifts between 4-8 hours. Weekend and overnight shifts may also be available.

Do I need my own transportation?

Reliable transportation is required as caregivers need to be able to travel to client homes. Mileage will be reimbursed.

What is the pay rate?

Pay starts at $X per hour but may be higher depending on experience and location. Overtime opportunities are available with time-and-a-half pay.

Do I need certification?

No specific certification is required but a background check will be conducted. CPR certification is preferred but we can provide training.

Will I be working alone?

For most assignments, yes you will be working one-on-one with clients. But our care managers are available for advice or assistance as needed.

Can I get experience as a caregiver before committing long-term?

Absolutely, we are happy to consider candidates for part-time, temporary, or per diem roles to gain experience in the field. This could then lead to a full-time position.
